THE MOST ITALIAN OF THE FRENCH
PERCHED AT 1850M ALTITUDE, JUST A FEW MINUTES FROM ITALY, LA ROSIÈRE IS CONSIDERED A PRECIOUS PEARL OF THE HAUTE TARENTAISE VALLEY. YOU WILL NOTICE VERY QUICKLY THAT THIS JEWEL SHINES FOR MANY REASONS:
•Its exceptional snowfall. During winter 2018, la Rosière-Espace San Bernardo area accumulated more than 11m of snow. Only a few kilometers as the crow flies from the Mont Blanc and the Col du Petit Saint-Bernard, the resort benefits from favourable weather conditions which guarantee an excellent snowfall from mid-December until end of April and makes it the resort with the highest snowfall in France.
• Its sunshine. On the snowfronts or from your accommodation, you will find yourself on the balcony of the Tarentaise, with a fully south facing view spanning more than 180°. Enjoy the sunsets and the resourcing light.
• Its Franco-Italian ski area. Since 1984, the Espace San Bernardo links La Rosière with La Thuile in Italy. This is unique in the Northen Alps. A journey to discover on skis, bringing new panoramic views and a similar culture which, at the same time is so different.

LA ROSIÈRE IN SUMMER
La Rosière is located on a natural balcony, offering the most amazing scenery. The power of the mountain and its varied colors allow you to unwind immediately. The south-facing aspect of La Rosière maximizes skin exposure to the sun rays to increase vitamin D levels, essential for the absorption of calcium in the body. Being perched at 1850m altitude also means that holidaymakers will be keeping their red blood cells tanked up, oxygenizing their blood without doing anything.
Unlike any other resort, La Rosière gives its guests the opportunity to discover two very different cultures and regions during the same stay, French (Savoie) and Italian (Aosta Valley).
The ideal place to get into shape, what’s more is that there’s something for everyone! Go off exploring on the hiking trails and do some sport with the family, have a go at golf in the evening, the sunsets are majestic, opt for some thrills with some mountain biking, paragliding, rafting or bask themself at the thermal bath of Pré Saint Didier after checking out the Ruitor waterfalls!
